Guide
Airbnb & temporary residence in Vietnam
Does an Airbnb reservation register you with police in Vietnam? How temporary residence declarations differ from booking confirmations, and why residence evidence can matter in overstay cases.
Booking is not the same as registration
An Airbnb reservation or Booking.com confirmation is evidence of where you stayed. It does not automatically equal an official temporary-residence declaration. Hosts or local procedures typically handle registration. Ask for proof of registration when possible.
